By the way, this class is the class learning "food and culture". I'm very interested in this field of studying. And I like cooking. So I wanted to cook something complicated dishes, however, now I live in Tokyo by myself so I couldn't prepare enough ingredients to do so. So I made some riceballs. The dishes cooked by my classmates were very delicious. I wanted to know how to cook these dishes and cook by myself someday.
For me, this picnic had very important
meaning, because I became friends with class members and the opportunity to
exercise and think about healthy foods.
I'm glad you enjoyed the picnic so much and got so much out of it. I had a good time, too. It was a great chance for us to get to know each other better in an informal setting. Classrooms aren't the best place to "break the ice."
