I went to TOM BOY with Meiko. This restaurant is Indian cuisine, especially curry and nan.
This restaurant is near Shibuya station and 2nd basement of TOHO CINEMAS. This restaurant is opened from 11 o'clock to 24 o'clock and don't have holiday. The atmosphere is very ethnic.
The clerks greeted us in a pleasing manner and they came to us in order to serve water within 3 minutes when we sat on our seats. And after a few minutes, they came again and litened our order very kindly. This restaurant has several kinds of lunch menu. Suprisingly, if students show their student card, the price of lunch down 100 yen. This is very attractive point for us.
We ate curry and nan. These taste was very good but a little bit spicy for us. In lunch time, we can ask for more nans for free. This point is also attractive.
I enjoyed reading your review and listening to your presentation about Tom Boy. Every time I went to see a movie at the Shibuya Toho Cinema I noticed this restaurant, but I never thought of eating there. Your review makes me curious about it. The decor seems attractive (and even cute with the hanging Christmas stockings), and the prices certainly are reasonable. The food looks quite delicious, too. I hope they would be able to manage some vegan curries. Some Indian restaurants have pre-made curries that already contain cream or ghee. Your photos add a lot to your review!
